The Black Podcasters Association at the 4th Annual Afros & Audio Podcast Festival
The BPA community represented and supported our community partner, Afros and Audio, at their 4th Annual Podcast Festival in Philadelphia on Oct 22-23. It was a great event of networking, collaboration, learning, and community.
It was the first time many of our community members got to meet face to face. We also had some great presentations, and panels that involved many of our community members. We are looking forward to 2023 and hope to have an even bigger turnout.
Want to know why it is important for organizations like Afros & Audio to exist?
Just look at all the smiles on everyone’s face. Those smiles never stopped throughout the entire weekend. As Black creatives and professionals, it’s important to have events that support our voices and hear our concerns. This festival not only seeks to address the unique issues that Black creatives may encounter while on their journey, but to also offer solutions and support to help solve those issues.
If you are interested in learning more about Afros & Audio and/or would like to be a part of the next festival for 2023, go to their website here: Afros & Audio
