The Black Podcasting Awards 2022 Announces Their Winners
On September 25th, 2022, the Black Podcasting Awards help their annual awards ceremony. This year was particularly special as the awards show was hosted by Latrice Sampson Richards, introduced several new categories, featured some great music from up and coming artists, and their first ever Legends Award Winner, Berry Sykes of PodcastsInColor.com.
The after party was particularly special as the winners talked about their particular journeys over the past year in podcasting.
We also want to give a special shout to some of our very own community members on their wins this year.

KaBrazen Children's Podcasting Forum - Multi-lingual African Children’s Podcast - September 29th
The KaBrazen Podcast brings stories of brazen African women for our little ones. Come join us and explore the KaBrazen universe, where children from around the world journey through the stories of these important African women.
This is our first collaboration exploring a multilingual African children's podcast in English and Kiswahili. It supported by the Ignite Culture grant of the ACP-EU administered by HEVA Fund.
Attend this unique event to listen to these stories and feel the excitement in the voices of their storytellers. Come meet and mingle with the creators of the most exciting children’s podcast from Africa, the LAM Sisterhood, and their partners Za Kikwetu Productions and Africa Podfest.
The event will be a virtual forum hosted on the Zoom webinar platform on Thursday 29th September from 3:30pm - 5:30pm East Africa Time (8:30 AM - 10:30 AM EST). The presentation will be English and Kiswahili. Registration is free of charge.
