Black Is Tech Conference Starts Today!

It may not be directly related to podcasting, but the largest conference dedicated to black tech starts today. The Black Is Tech Conference is a platform that connects Black and Brown tech professionals, students, and entrepreneurs and provides access to resources for growth and development for these groups.
Entering its 4th year, the 2022 Conference will bring over 20,000 attendees virtually and 3500 for smaller In-person activations and a full week of networking, speaking sessions, workshops, recruitments, a pitch competition, entertainment, and more. 150+ speakers and 500+ companies will also be represented.
BPA Founder, Corey Gumbs, Moderates the Technology Disruptors in Podcasting Panel - Sept 16th
On September 16th, Corey Gumbs, BPA Founder, along with Anna Deshawn, The Qube App, and Jason Brooks, Google Software Engineer, will be holding a panel to discuss their views on how more black tech disrupt the podcasting industry.

Black Podcasting Awards is a celebration of the ownership and creation of content for the Black experience in the world of podcasting. Through a curated list of categories, we aim to elevate Black voices within the podcasting network that may not receive the recognition they deserve.

Congratulations to the Black Podcasting Awards for achieving their 501c3 Non-Profit status.
The 501c3 status will allow the BPA to accept donations from its supporters and allow them to create new ways to bring value to the podcasting community.
