Twila Dang and MPR News Want To Hear Your “Minnesota Nice” Stories For New Podcast
"Minnesota Nice" is a well-known term referring to the perceived friendly and polite demeanor of those from Minnesota. However, this characteristic isn't always as warm or welcoming as it might initially seem.
This is the central question being explored in an upcoming podcast by MPR News and Twila Dang, Founder and CEO of Matriarch Digital Media.
They are currently seeking your personal anecdotes and experiences surrounding the concept of "Minnesota Nice".
Whether your stories are “humorous, heartfelt, or even heartbreaking”, they're interested in understanding the impact of this cultural stereotype.
If you have a story to share, they want to hear it.
Those whose stories are selected might find themselves being interviewed for an upcoming episode of the MPR podcast, providing a chance to share your personal insights and experiences with a broader audience.
This is a unique opportunity for native, current, and/or transplant Minnesotans to contribute to the narrative of Minnesota and influence how "Minnesota Nice" is understood in the future
