love this conversation, I see my show as a TV Talk show first. I strip off the audio and upload it as an audio podcast. I started with video and always considered it a TV show. it's a TV show with an audio podcast component not an audio podcast that also has video. I hope most of my audience is watching rather than listening. I'm on YouTube, Rumble, and here on Substack. I usually post links to the video not just audio. My show is o Apple, Spotify, iHeart radio, and most every audio podcast platform but if I share, it's usually to the video. Loving "watching" you three!
Loved this conversation. I’m very much audio-first and have honestly struggled with the idea of creating video content, especially video podcasting. There’s something about the intimacy of audio that really resonates with me.
I appreciated hearing all of the different perspectives. It gave me a lot to reflect on and think about more deeply. Thank you for sharing such thoughtful insights.
No, it's not dead at all. I'm a podcaster and although I record all my podcasts on my phone, I just love watching people give their views on video. I love seeing the facial expressions, the feelings that are shown on video and the interactions and opinions that are given while recording via video, so yes, to me video podcasting is still relevant in 2026.

Nope, not dead. In fact I'd say it's just getting started.
