Welcome to the first Northern Voices (NV) podcast playlist, a bi-weekly curated article designed for you to discover podcasts or YouTube pods hosted or co-hosted by Black Creators, both in Canada or ex-pat Canadians who are recording abroad! Podcasting is a passion of mine, and I don't say this lightly! I've been an avid listener since 2018 and have been creating, hosting, consulting and producing audio shows since 2010. Being in the game so early, I often find myself among the first Black and Female voices in the industry. I've seen many creators come and go, but one thing I know for sure is that I LOVE this medium and enjoy discovering both new and old shows. Here are a few recommendations for you to follow, subscribe to, and leave a review for this week:

In Season Two, we may have outdone ourselves with guests like the owner of a Lithuanian potato chip company with a flavor that simulates the nether regions of the female anatomy; the operator of Reykjavik’s Icelandic Phallological Museum; a man who pushed a peanut up a mountain with his nose, and so much more! Segments are hosted by broadcaster Peter Anthony Holder and were also featured in a conversational form on his online radio show, The Stuph File Program, which has been running for over a decade.
