About Richard
Tamika Cody is a multimedia journalist and content producer with more than fifteen years of experience across broadcast digital and print platforms. She has produced national stories for news programs investigative units and feature series creating reporting that resonates with broad and diverse audiences.
Most recently she served as a content producer for Matter of Fact a nationally syndicated political magazine show where she pitched scripted and produced weekly segments reaching ninety five percent of U.S. television markets. Prior to that she worked with Hearst Television’s National Investigative Unit contributing to the award winning Forecasting Our Future climate series. Her reporting at TEGNA’s VERIFY earned a 2023 Anthem Award for coverage of youth suicide.
Tamika began her career as a financial reporter in New York City launching video platforms hosting online series and covering mergers and acquisitions. Her skill set spans video production editing podcasting and digital strategy. She holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina.

Fun Fact
She grew up with Jamaican cooking at the center of family life and now it inspires her Substack content. She has hosted an online series about women in accounting and once performed as a backup singer in two bands in Montclair NJ.
