About Richard
Richard Smith is an award winning art director producer and podcast host whose career spans music fashion art and global branding. He has collaborated with musicians Depeche Mode and Siouxsie Sioux artists Damien Hirst and Julian Schnabel and fashion designers Alexander McQueen and John Galliano. His brand work includes projects for Amex Duke University and Virgin Records.
His work has appeared in The New York Times TIME The Guardian and New York Magazine with recognition from D&AD the Webbys Awards Pantone and Design Week. In 2024 he launched BRB Studios a creative content studio producing podcasts documentaries brand films and campaigns across marketing social and recruitment. Its debut podcast Destroy! The Influence of Punk was featured on Apple Podcasts voted number one Punk Podcast by Goodpods and nominated for a People’s Choice Award.
