💼 Position: Audio/Podcast Producer - Politics
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) is actively seeking an experienced Audio/Podcast Producer to elevate its esteemed podcast, Politically Georgia, into a daily podcast and radio show.
This full-time position, located in metro Atlanta, Georgia, offers an opportunity to work with an award-winning politics team and contribute to a media outlet that serves a diverse and vibrant community.
The Audio Producer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the show, including but not limited to, talent scheduling, guest booking, topic selection, and audio editing.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications/technology is preferred.
A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in radio, TV broadcasting, or podcasting.
At least 1+ years of experience in podcast development and production.
Proficiency in audio design and audio mixing, particularly with Adobe Audition.
Strong understanding of political content, especially related to Atlanta and Georgia politics.
